The Grand Finale:

The Grand Finale of the Betfair/EBGT 2012 will take place before the "European Pro Championship 2013" in Lefkosa, Northern Cyprus.

The 16 qualified players will have their entry fees (worth 1.000 € each) paid and compete in a new format (out after 3 losses). Should any of the 16 qualified players not be present at the Grand Finale, his spot will be given to the next available player of the Point Race, according to his ranking (from highest to lowest).

16 real players will take part at the Grand Finale. In the unlikely event of a qualified player wins a stop, the finalist of that stop will be deducted the entry fee and qualifies. Should the finalist be already qualified as well, the semi-finalists will play off to qualify (the entry fee will be deducted from the prize pool of that winner).

Each qualified player will have a registration fee of 50€ to pay prior to the start of the Grand Finale.

All matches of the Grand Finale will be 9 points, clocks mandatory (2 minutes per point + 12 seconds delay per move).
